I’ve been working with a family for the past 5 months, 2 boys aged 5 and 8. The 5 year old is on online kindergarten, and gets daily assignments via seesaw. Around thanksgiving, one of his tasks was to write and draw about something that he’s thankful for. After a few minutes of discussing things like his parents or brother, for snow and skiing, he says to me “I’m going to write about you!” Of course, my heart melted. I told him” You have parents and a brother and grandparents and friends to write about! Why write about me?” He says “because I love you so much!”
