Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy being crafty (to the best of my ability), having the help me cook/back if possible, getting created with "pretend" playing, anything outdoors, homework help, reading, and many more.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love being trusted with the well being and safety of children. I get to stay active and have fun with kids instead of having a boring job.
My experience with special needs children...
I babysat for a neighbor and dear friend of mine for many years who's daughter has cerebral palsy. She was the sweetest girl. I had the opportunity to play with her, feed her, bath/change her and watch her grow! A couple years later I had the opportunity to help out a family who's daughter had cancer. I helped with her medications, feeding, as well as the normal daily things like playing , napping, school work and just having some fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
A family I used to nanny for a couple years ago had an eight month old baby who started walking (at an awfully young age)! But it was so fun being able to experience that and watch him grow in so many ways!
