More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m currently a teacher for three-year-old children at a Head Start program. My journey in child care began in high school when I volunteered at McCormick Children’s Home as a junior. I’m now attending Columbia College to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring I can provide a safe and nurturing environment for every child in my care.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with children, including:
• Playing with play dough
• Pretend play and dress-up
• Painting and creating art
• Going to the park and enjoying the outdoors
• Exploring nature and outdoor games
• Hands-on activities like crafts and sensory play
I love encouraging creativity, imagination, and active play in everything we do!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting and loving relationship with the child and their family. It’s about creating a safe, supportive space where children feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow. Being a nanny means showing up with patience, positivity, and genuine care helping little ones learn, laugh, and feel confident as they explore the world around them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was during circle time while reading “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.” As I read the silly parts, one of my three-year-olds shouted, “She’s gonna BURP!” and the whole class burst into giggles. They were so engaged, trying to guess what she’d swallow next. It was such a fun moment filled with laughter, imagination, and storytelling and reminded me how much joy books can bring to little ones when we make them come alive!

I'm a 23-year-old barista with a heart as warm as the coffee I serve. Everyone who knows me says I'm incredibly kind, and I try to bring that energy into everything I do. When I'm not working, I love going for walks in the park—it’s my favorite way to relax and enjoy the little things. I value quiet moments, nature, and making people feel comfortable just by being myself.
