Over the past few years, I’ve cared for children of different ages through both babysitting and volunteer opportunities. I regularly watch my neighbor’s two kids (ages 4 and 7), where I plan fun activities, help with homework, and prepare simple meals. In addition, I’ve often helped family friends by caring for toddlers and elementary‑aged children during evenings and weekends. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make kids feel comfortable and happy while their parents are away.

To me, the most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe and happy environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. It’s not just about watching kids—it’s about being a positive role model, someone they can trust and look forward to spending time with. I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of fun along the way!

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a little girl I babysit finally learn to ride her bike without training wheels. We practiced together for a few afternoons, and when she finally took off on her own, her smile was priceless!
