Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I found my family that I am currently nannying for on Nannylane! I have been with them a little over a year now and absolutely love working with them.
Some of my past experiences:
I used to work at my Churches daycare (pre-COVID of course) and absolutely loved it! I gained experience working with children with ASD, and Down Syndrome. I also worked with multiple children at once by myself so it taught me how to remain calm even when there’s a lot going on at one time. In the daycare I also worked with multiple sets of twins.

Going to the park, learning, creating arts and crafts, fun games in the house ( hide and seek, card games, math cards, board games etc.), and outside time!

Making sure the kids are learning and having fun, while also teaching them things that they’ll need/remember in life since this is a very crucial time in their development!

My brother was diagnosed with ASD, I worked with other children with ASD in my churches daycare and I have experience with working with a toddler with Down syndrome
The most important part about being a nanny...
"Playing" with a learning set that I bought him. He thought it was a fun game to learn about numbers and counting, and did not realize he was actually learning. This moment means so much to me because he's beginning school soon and it showed me the little differences that we as nanny's make in their lives. He loves to play with the set, so I'm hoping he takes these memories to school with him when he realizes it's similar to what we did at home.
