In 2023 I cared for my sister in law’s(at the time) kids. She had 3 children I helped care for. She is an owner of several nail salons in NC so she was pretty busy and the kids stayed a lot of nights with us an
During this time I would cook for them and occasionally take them out! This is not something I was paid for though, I just volunteered to help out :).
In spring of 2024 I started taking and picking up my best friend’s little sister to school and summer school. This lasted until October and I commuted up to 20-25 minutes to take her to her school. This was something I was paid to do !

My favorite moment caring for kids would be when I would take my best friend’s little sister to school. Her name is Julie (12 at the time) This was a 20-25 minute drive so during that time we would just talk about everything. She has a lot of trust in me and I really cherished that. I’ve known her since she was about 8 and we have never been closer :,).
