Hi, my name is Aimee! I was born and raised in South Florida, and I absolutely love spending time with my family and being outdoors—whether that’s going to the beach, spending time by the pool, or simply enjoying quality time with the people I love.

I grew up surrounded by younger step-siblings and cousins whom I absolutely adore, which gave me a lot of experience caring for and spending time with children from a young age. I also attend church every Sunday, where I volunteer with the children’s ministry. Through volunteering, I’ve had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the children and their families, which is something I truly enjoy.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My experience caring for children includes volunteering in children’s ministry at my church, where I regularly spend time with children of different ages and help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for them. Through this experience, I’ve developed meaningful relationships with the children and their families and have learned the importance of patience, communication, and being a positive role model. My first babysitting experience was caring for two young boys, ages 2 and 4. I regularly babysat them several days a week and continued caring for them as they grew, until they were 11 and 14 years old. Over the years, I developed a very close relationship with both the children and their family. I now pet sit for the family to this day whenever they need me. I also babysat my step siblings when they were 3 and 4 years old, and I continued caring for them as they grew; they are now in high school and we have such a special bond.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing just about anything and everything with children! I love getting creative with arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, going for bike rides, playing games, and exploring new activities together. I also enjoy quieter activities like watching movies, reading, or simply spending quality time together. I love finding activities that match each child’s interests and personality and making sure they’re having fun while feeling comfortable and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is building a genuine and trusting relationship with the child and their family. I believe it’s important to take the time to understand each child—their personality, interests, needs, and what makes them feel happy and comfortable.

I want to be someone the child looks forward to spending time with, whether we’re playing, learning, being silly, or simply enjoying everyday moments together. Most importantly, I would love to be a positive and meaningful part of their childhood and watch them grow over the years, while also becoming someone their family can trust and rely on.

I also understand how important CPR and First Aid training are when caring for children. I am currently in the process of completing my CPR and First Aid certification because I want to be fully prepared to provide a safe environment

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have extensive professional experience working with children with special needs, these children hold a very special place in my heart. Through volunteering in my church’s children’s ministry, I’ve had the opportunity to build relationships with a few children who have truly touched my heart. They are incredibly sweet, compassionate, and kind.

I believe it’s important to take the time to understand each child’s individual needs, personality, and comfort level. Every child is different, and I would approach each child with patience, compassion, and an open heart while making sure they feel safe, included, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was with one of the little boys I cared for when he was just 2 years old. He would sit by the door waiting for me to arrive, and as soon as I walked in, he would grab my hand, bring me to his room, and excitedly show me all of his toys while telling me about his day.

Watching our bond grow over the years has been incredibly special to me. He is now in high school, and although it’s bittersweet to see him all grown up, I feel so grateful that I’ve been able to be a part of his life for so many years.

I also have a very special bond with my younger step-siblings. Since the day I met them, we became inseparable. I had always wanted siblings, and they quickly became such an important part of my life. Caring for them and watching them grow over the years is something I truly cherish. They are some of the sweetest and easiest kids to love, and being there for them has given me so many special memories.
