The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is your able to partake a piece of you into a little being and help mold and shape their lives in a positive way. In a way that their parents would. You are an extension of the parent when they cannot be around. You take the roll of what the parent would do when they are home. Being a Nanny is more than just babysitting you are apart of something more. After a while the child will grow use to you as though you are family. And at that point the child does become like family to you.
My experience with special needs children...
I have helped raised my nephew who has a tumor on the brain he also has epilepsy seizures that occurs on a regular basis. I have aided him with his seizures and making sure he is laying comfortably flat while holding his head until it passes. I have aided him with medication. Plus other routines. As well as help with his recovery after surgery.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember a time when I had a cookout and invited my neighbors as well and me and my children were all happy and having fun with friends and family grilling food on the grill. My oldest daughter helping me prepare the food in the kitchen she younger at the time. My oldest son would come over and start dancing to the music that was playing. The whole gathering ended up turning into a mini block party. Everyone forgot about there problems or issues and just enjoyed their time are great food and drinks and had fun. I miss times like this it really brings the community together
