More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have six years of experience as a nanny for various families in Charlotte, where I provided attentive care and support to children of different ages. In addition to professional nanny work, I helped raise my godbrothers from infancy until they were 4 and 2 years old, gaining hands-on experience with early childhood development. I also spent several years working at a summer camp, where I assisted with activities and supervision for kids across a wide range of age groups.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Engaging in outdoor adventures such as exploring nature trails and walking in scenic parks, participating in active play including playing with toys, engaging in educational activities like solving puzzles that focus on colors and numbers, reading picture books to foster language skills, and singing simple, catchy songs like Super Simple Songs or traditional nursery rhymes to develop musical awareness and enjoyment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny for me is creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can grow and thrive. I value building strong, trusting relationships with both the children and their families, ensuring open communication and consistency in care. Supporting a child’s development through engaging activities, learning opportunities, and emotional encouragement is something I take pride in. Knowing that I can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life through patience, attentiveness, and genuine care is what makes this role so rewarding for me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with special needs children. I helped raise my two godbrothers, who were each on different sides of the autism spectrum, which gave me insight into a wide range of needs and behaviors. In addition, I regularly assisted with a non-verbal special needs child by picking her up from her school transportation and caring for her in the evenings until her mother returned from work. These experiences have taught me patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt to various learning and communication styles.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I helped first-time parents care for their first child. They were understandably nervous about leaving their baby with someone else, but all of those worries faded once we met. After getting to know me and seeing how comfortable I made their little one, they felt completely at ease trusting me as their child’s caregiver.

Hi! I'm a dance teacher with a passion for working with children of all ages. I also volunteer in my church's children's ministry, where I love encouraging kids as they learn, grow, and build confidence. Watching children develop into kind, creative, and confident individuals is one of my greatest joys.
I believe children learn best through play, creativity, and meaningful experiences. Whether we're making simple crafts, dancing, reading stories, playing outside, or exploring their imaginations, I strive to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child feels loved and encouraged.
As a Christian, my faith is an important part of my life. If it aligns with your family's values, I love to help them foster their relationship with Jesus in a loving and age-appropriate way.
My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and joyful environment where your children can thrive while giving you peace of mind that they're in caring hands.
