I love watching kids enjoy being kids! This means using their imagination, creating things, and playing outside. Playing is very important because it is how children learn! I am not one to sit back and watch tv, I want to play!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love being able to teach kids in a fun and engaging way. Education is provided through play and fostering inquisitive minds. It is not simply sitting behind a desk and doing homework. I love showing kids that learning can be fun and helping them find their interests.
My experience with special needs children...
I cared for a sweet 2-year-old boy with down's syndrome at the summer camp I worked at. I have also taught swim lessons to children with down's syndrome, autism, and ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is playing the pie face game with my kids and listening to their laughs. They were never-ending because they thought it was absolutely hilarious!
