Hi! My name is Alana, and I'm 17 years old. my passion it to helping kids feel safe, supported, and loved. I'm a certified lifeguard, swim coach, and I’m also certified in First Aid and CPR. and water rescue and the Heimlich maneuver I absolutely love working with children—especially helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment.

A few fun things about me: I love the color blue, I’m a big fan of Dr. Pepper, and I live just two minutes away from a beautiful membership pool. I enjoy nannying, and one of my biggest dreams is to join the cost guard one day so I can keep making a difference in lives around the world. Right now, I’m working on getting my driver’s license and saving up for my first car, which I’m super excited about!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I do swim coaching, also a private swim instructor. I've also been a nanny for over four years with multiple different families from a variety of ages certified CPR the Heimlich.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going outside on hikes. I love taking them to amusement parks and stuff where they can be creative. I also love doing inside projects like art or making bracelets or a fun little movie building forts. I love taking them to my membership where I'm a coach at and I love doing what makes them happy

The most important part about being a nanny...

is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable to be themselves and grow. It’s not just about supervising—it’s about building a trusting relationship, being a positive role model, and truly understanding each child’s needs.

As a nanny, I believe it’s my job to help kids feel heard, cared for, and encouraged while also supporting the family’s routines, values, and goals. Whether it’s through playing, teaching, comforting, or just being present, I want the children I care for to feel secure and happy every day.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have any experience with special-needs children, but I am more than willing to work with special-needs children. If that means the parent would like me to get more knowledgeable on that subject I would be more than happy to.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment with a little boy, he was four years old at the time and he told me that I was his second 2 mommy was the most fun babysitter he had ever had and my heart exploded because that's why I do this is for giving the parents a break while also giving the children fun experiences
