I enjoy going on walks with the children and having them explore under supervision. If the weather is not as nice to be outside I enjoy going to libraries or museums. If you happen to be uncomfortable with the children leaving the home I always find joy in seeking their independence in playtime!

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is being an extension of the family. You grow personal connections with the kids as well as the parents. To be seen as someone that can be trusted to raise the child the same way the parents would.

My favorite moment as a nanny would have to be watching the kids grow into their personalities and seek independence. I have watched children from newborn until they were 3 years of age and it always makes me proud!
