The most important part about being a nanny is building trust. Children need to feel safe, understood, and supported, and parents need to feel confident that their child is in caring and capable hands. Creating a balance of structure, warmth, and fun while respecting the family’s values and routines is what truly makes a nanny successful.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children comes from my work as an RBT in both school and clinic settings. I’ve supported children with autism and other developmental needs in building communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. I’m very comfortable implementing structured routines, using positive reinforcement, and staying patient and calm during challenging moments. Most importantly, I focus on meeting each child where they are and celebrating their progress, no matter how big or small.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the small but meaningful breakthroughs, like when a child masters a skill they’ve been working hard on or finally feels confident enough to try something new on their own.
