Hello!! I am 22 years old and I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child/children! I have always had a natural affinity for child care (even when I was a child) I have been looking forward to getting my first nanny job since I was 7 years old! I first realized I wanted to work with children at a very young age when my parents took notice of my maternal skills. They heavily endorsed my passion, encouraging me to get my babysitter certificate at 12 years old. I truly enjoy being around children as much as I can! I get no greater pleasure than seeing shy children slowly open up around me as they become their silly little selves!!!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started my babysitting journey when I was 12-14 years old. My most recent experience as a babysitter was in 2022, where I cared for a 3-year-old. I am still on good terms with the family and occasionally care and babysit her today.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Running/games outside (hide and seek, different tag games, etc...) Playing make-believe! Riddles to confuse them while helping them think in a fun way! Making chores or household tasks fun with music or little rewards (how to make them look forward to taking up more responsibilities as they grow older). Laughing with them in general is always something I enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing a safe environment, a healthy relationship, and endless love for the child.
Getting the child to trust me is the most important part, and it is the first thing I strive towards as we have our first encounters.

My experience with special needs children...

For the past two years, I have been working as a Behavioral Interventionist. It is my absolute dream job, and not just because I can work one-on-one with kids, but being able to provide a positive impact on my clients and their families' lives, is what makes working this job a dream. My main clients that I was assigned to ranged from 8-11 years old, I also have BI experience working with 18-21 year olds. I can confidently say, that over the past two years I have become exceptionally good at my job! It is a very difficult and challenging job, but I have learned to embrace change and adapt to my environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a babysitter was a couple of months ago when I helped my kid write, her name for the first time! Her mom and I were so unbelievably proud, and I will never forget the look of pride on C’s face!
