I was watching this 7 yr girl while her parents were having a date night. At first, she hated the fact that I was there instead of her mom. I always try to do my best at making sure the child is comfortable and also having a fun time. However, this little one was so stubborn, she didn’t want to talk about school with me, or any of her after school activities. Also, it was nearing her bedtime and I really didn’t want to send her to bed without having a good time first, so I popped a Barbie movie in sat her down in front of the TV made some not-so-healthy snacks and we watched and laughed. We didn’t get to finish it though cause she felt asleep half through, but it felt really good that I made her night.
