The most important part about being a nanny...
Enthusiasm. Children have so much curiosity and energy, it can sometimes be difficult to match. A nanny who is enthusiastic sends a message to the kids that she is happy to be there. As a nanny, you have to be ready to do a million things at once and engage with the children at the same time.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I was helping my nanny kid write out her class valentines. When we finished her class list we started writing them for her family and stuffed animals. When we were all out of cards, she asked me to go upstairs and grab something. I came back down and she had hidden one of the big cards and wrote my name on it. She didn't spell my name exactly right but it was so sweet.
