I’m a teacher and I’ve had years of experience teaching and tutoring students with special needs. I also have a niece with autism who I babysat since she was almost an infant. She’s about to be in 6th grade! 😍
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment(s) was turning my backyard into a different experience a few times a week, and getting to watch the two kids I would babysit walk into the backyard and get so excited…it was seeing their faces. And we would get to be pirates, be artists, go “camping” or have a random birthday party for no reason for the day! It was always an adventure!

My work included attending jobs with the client, supporting them throughout the work day by utilizing grounding/ breath work techniques when emotions would overwhelm, as well as write comprehensive case notes for their family or personal use!
I personally value empathy, compassion and respect as a base for any contact with children as we learn so much about what to accept in life as a child.
