Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a summer camp counselor in Colorado for 4 years. After that I was employed by the Sarasota YMCA children's shelter as a Behavior Coach for almost 2 years. Most recently I did a stint in Italy for 3 months as an au pair, all while taking baby sitting jobs in between.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and Crafts, singing, dancing, playing dress up or pretend, playing outside at the playground or creating our own games to play outside. Swimming, sports, going for walks, playing age appropriate board and card games with them.

Keeping the children safe and as happy as can be while creating a comfortable environment for them to develop into the individuals they are.
My experience with special needs children...
At the Summer camp and the YMCA shelter we had several children with various special needs or medical needs. I would help try and support each child with their individual needs and also help administer medication when needed. Experience in helping calm tantrums and provide comfort when needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As an au pair I was playing on the trampoline with the children in the back yard when the parents called us for lunch and they begged for more time just to play a little longer, and then seeing how happy they got when they were reminded I'd be able to go right back to playing with them after lunch.
