I worked at Krayola Kids Daycare for almost 2 years. I worked at an autism center for a couple of months and I currently work at a daycare that I have been at for almost a year.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children ranging from age 3-24 that have autism. I was only at this job for a few months, but I learned a lot working there. We ran discrete trial trainings which were things as simple as everyday chores. We broke it down into steps and would take data on the trial as we went.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My all time favorite moment at any childcare facility I have been at has been watching our infants learn how to sit up, crawl and walk. It’s such a bittersweet moment and I love watching children learn to be their own person.
