Creative, reliable & experienced nanny looking for her next family! I've been w/ the same family (4yo & 7yo) since March 2023 but it's transition time. I'm a 30yo hardworking & energetic individual who calls Grand Rapids, MI home. Now I live in Dickson w/ my husband & 2 cats.
All together I have 8 years of babysitting/nanny experience. I have done a little bit of everything & can do anything. Past clients would say I'm punctual, detail-oriented & flexible. They would also say that I am respectful, caring, passionate & take pride in what I do.
I like to spend my time outdoors, rather its going for a hike, camping or gardening. I love to do puzzles, crafts & seeing live music.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Most of my experience is from being a self employed nanny for 4 years while living in California. During that time I worked for 8 different families with very different parenting styles. Respecting what the parents want for their child(ren) is my biggest goal.
I had my first paid babysitting job at 12. I also have a younger brother and younger cousins so I've always had a nurturing lifestyle.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing puzzles, arts and crafts, building with blocks or a fort, going for walks in a nature park, playing at a playground, creek/water play, sensory play, dance party, pretend play, bike riding, reading books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I want to be the compassionate, understanding person I didn't have when I was younger. Becoming apart of the family and being a positive role model for the kids to look up to and depend on. Creating a safe environment where children feel safe, seen and heard.

My experience with special needs children...

Throughout school I would help out, rather it was lunch or reading time, with the students that are on the spectrum.
I have no recent experience but believe I would do a great job.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is when I am working with young ones over a long period of time and they can finally say my name! The random hugs and alllll the laughs.
