More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a full-time nanny and babysitter for multiple families from the age of 12 through 22, and caring for children has always been something I truly enjoy and find fulfilling.
I have experience caring for children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. I tailor my approach and activities based on each child’s age, personality, and individual needs. I enjoy teaching, reading books, creative play, outdoor activities, and adapting to the interests of the children I care for. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow.
Although my spouse and I do not have children of our own, we have helped care for my nephew in our home since he was 2 years old, and he is now 8 years old. This experience has strengthened my love for working with children and supporting families in meaningful ways.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is helping children feel safe, supported, confident, and loved while also supporting the family as a whole. I believe a nanny can make a lasting positive impact by encouraging children to learn, grow, and believe in themselves. Whether it is teaching a child a new skill like swimming, helping them improve in reading and writing, or simply being someone they can trust and have fun with, those moments are incredibly meaningful to me. Seeing a child gain confidence and watching their family feel proud and supported is the most rewarding part of being a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I am well versed with children that have diagnosed mental health needs which includes but not limited to; ADHD, OCD, Depression, Anxiety, and reserved children. I am able to relate and show continued understanding towards the child’s best interest.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was teaching one of the children I cared for how to swim over the summer. By the end of the season, the child was confidently swimming on their own. Watching their confidence grow and seeing how proud they were of themselves was incredibly rewarding.
Another meaningful experience was helping a child with reading and writing while their single mother worked two jobs. I spent time encouraging and practicing with the child, and eventually they reached goals they had been struggling with. Seeing the child light up with excitement and proudly show their mother their progress was a moment I will never forget. Watching how proud and emotional the mother was made every moment worth it and reminded me why I love working with children and families.
