I enjoy creating a safe and engaging environment where children can learn and grow while having fun. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, outdoor games, swimming, reading stories, helping with homework, playing imaginative games, baking simple treats together, and planning creative activities that keep kids active and entertained. I also love encouraging kindness, curiosity, and confidence while making sure each child feels supported, included, and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is ensuring every child is safe, happy, and emotionally supported. Safety is always my top priority, but I also believe it’s important to be attentive and observant of each child’s emotions and behavior. I’m good at recognizing when a child may be feeling left out, overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply having a bad day, even if they don’t say it out loud. I make it a point to adjust activities, encourage inclusion, and provide comfort or redirection when needed so every child feels valued, heard, and cared for. Building trust while creating a fun, positive, and secure environment is what I believe makes a great nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children of all abilities, including children with special needs. As a swim instructor, I taught private and small group swim lessons while ensuring every child felt safe, supported, and confident in the water. This required constant supervision, patience, and the ability to adapt my teaching style to each child’s individual needs. I was also responsible for safely supervising groups of up to four children at a time, balancing each child’s attention and safety while creating a fun, positive environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide attentive, compassionate, and dependable care, making me well prepared to care for children as a nanny.
