I was a teacher from [phone number hidden] at a daycare from ages 1-6. I have also babysat for multiple friends and family members over the course of 8 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love arts and crafts, going to the park and taking kids on adventures whether we walk there or take a ride to our destination while playing their favorite songs. I am down for whatever the child is imagining.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is by making sure the kid I am with is a friend, as if I am actually there to hangout with them and be there for them, while of course still maintaining an authority figure. But its to be someone who doesn't disregard them its to be there and present and create special moments and wanting them to ask you when I will be back and give not only you as parents a relief that they are with someone safe but also for the kid to know that they have someone they can play with and have fun with.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children of ADHD I am more than willing to learn when it comes to other special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To be honest I have many memories with children. To me each moment with a child is my favorite. For me its just spending the time with them and creating memories that will stick with them as they are growing older. If I were to have one it would be building a fort with one of the children I used to play with and we made popcorn and had pizza and watched the Descendants in a movie marathon.
