Ciao! My name is Alexia, I am a responsible, bilingual (native speaking italian) nanny and artist. I love working with kids and have 4 years of experience as a nanny with any age and special needs. I move very comfortably around the city while I’m taking care of children and have great organizing skills. As a creative, I like to do activities that stimulate their minds and that make their day fun and joyful. I have been volunteering for two years at an after school program in Italy.

I have been working as an assistant for a dance teacher of kids aged 4-8 in Italy.

I part time nannied during my 4 years in the United States.

I have been part of a volunteer art program for kids in Italy.

I enjoy doing arts and crafts with children, both indoors and outdoors.

I enjoy music and dance parties with the little ones.

I enjoy taking the kids to the museum, to the park, to the zoo, botanic garden and all kind of activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The best part about being a nanny is the exchange of lessons. Kids learn a lot from adults, and us as adults learn a lot from the little ones. It’s a pleasure to see each kid growing and being his own person. No child or baby is the same and adjustments are necessary for them to grow, this is why I try make every day not only a means of fun but also learning, creating and exploring

My experience with special needs children...

I currently take care of one kid with ADHD and one kid with ADD aged 8 and 10 and have been taking care of them for years.

Back in Italy I used to take care of a kid with level 3 ASD aged at the time 11.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when one of the kids I took care of, back then 2 years old was asked to stop doing an activity by me, and just stared at me in the eyes for a moment, then said: “Alexia, you are not responsible for me just because you are a grown up. I am in charge of myself!”. His mom was there and saw the whole scene, we immediately looked at each other and start laughing! It was hilarious
