Even though I’m new to being a professional nanny, I’ve spent much of my life around young children and helping care for them. I grew up in a big family where I was often responsible for watching over younger siblings, cousins, and family friends’ kids. From feeding and changing babies to playing games, reading books, and helping with bedtime routines, I’ve always enjoyed being a helping hand and making sure the little ones felt safe and happy. On top of that, my grandmother was a nanny for many years, and I spent a lot of time by her side, watching how she cared for children with so much love and patience. Seeing her build strong relationships with both kids and parents inspired me and gave me a deep understanding of the kind of trust and responsibility that comes with this role.

I enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with children that help them learn, grow, and have fun at the same time. Some of my favorite things to do include reading books together, which helps build their imagination and language skills, and spending time outside playing games or exploring nature. I also love doing enrichment activities like arts and crafts, painting, or simple learning games that spark creativity and curiosity. Keeping kids active, entertained, and mentally stimulated is something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m always open to trying new activities based on their interests.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where a child can feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to grow. It’s about building trust—not only with the child, but also with the parents—by being dependable, respectful, and attentive to the family’s needs and routines.
