Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a float volunteer at Children's Hospital for over 100 hours.
I spent years volunteering in my Church nursery, and was employed to provide care for young children while parents were in a group meeting.
I volunteered at the Crisis Nursery, where I had the opportunity to spend time with and nurture children when their parents needed a break.
I have nannied and babysat for multiple families.

I love crafts, cooking, educational games, and all types of creative play!

I believe it is important to provide safety, encouragement, love, creative play, and give children the space to enjoy being a kid.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with children who had a wide variety of needs, due to learning disabilities, fetal alcohol syndrome, motor disabilities, and more. Kindness and patience are key!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I nannied for three foster children in the summer of 2020, and I got the opportunity to witness their adoption by the couple I was employed by; they were finally able to have a home where they were unconditionally loved, cared for, and supported. I will always have a place in my heart for those three kiddos.
