Activities I enjoy doing with children...
During the summer months, I try to get the kids and myself outside as much as possible. Whether that is going for a walk, finding a park, having a picnic, riding bikes, a pool day, or simply doing outdoor activities like sports, or drawing with chalk. In the colder months, playing in the snow or going on a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood. Indoors gets tough but there's ALWAYS plenty to do like coloring/drawing, board games, baking or cooking new foods, science projects or simply just building and working on skills.

Providing a safe, trusting environment where children feel supported and confident. Being someone, children feel safe, happy, and comfortable with every day is the most rewarding part.

One of my favorite moments was watching a shy child gain confidence over the summer—by the end, they were leading games and proudly showing me their new skills. Another moment I’ll never forget was when a child told me they felt safe and happy when I arrived. Building that trust is the best part of being a nanny.
