I have worked alongside my mom in her preschool as well as spent several hours in classrooms for school. I am currently in the credentialing program at Simpson so I had to observe several different age groups. My last job was for an in home childcare where we would watch up to 15 children daily including infants. It feels as if I have been working with kids forever now!

I volunteered a lot at schools; I would high five kids on Fridays in the mornings so they start their day off right, I would go to elementary schools and read to children, I also volunteered to work their Halloween fair as well as coach children for little league. I am a nursing major so I have already gotten CPR certification and First aide. I love children so to me it would be a fulfilling job to have. I also love cooking and am pretty good in the kitchen. I’m also not afraid to clean or pick up things around the house on top of babysitting. I’m free everyday this summer and I’m willing to work late/early mornings.
