Hi my name is Alexis I've been babysitting kids for a little over 7 and half years counting but really ever since I could remember. I'm 21 years old and currently trying to figure out what I want to go back to school to do since I already have my associates degree in Art. In the meantime tho I miss kids I was thinking about watch kids again. That’s why got back on here to see about helping family’s. I use to watch my niece full time while I was in high school but I stopped right before college started because her mom lost her job. I really know how to be patient and kind to kids. I also know how to change diapers, makes bottles, clean, make food, do bath time if needed, put to sleep if needed but I really enjoy the time creating memories doing fun activities like going outside, coloring, park time, but really anything. The reason I stopped babysitting/nannying is because I bought a new car and couldn’t find a family who needed a long term person to help. CPR and First Aid certified

While I was in college I worked at a daycare everyday for about 2 years and cared for kids ages 2 through 5. I loved it but after I graduated in May I had to find a different job.

One of my favorite activities I enjoy doing with children inside is painting with water colors. I also love playing with toys or reading when on a rainy day when we can’t go outside and play. When it’s pretty and warm out I love taking little walks allowing the kids to have fun and enjoy nature.

The most important part about being a nanny/babysitter is to always be reliable and treat the children like their your own because you would only want what’s best for them. That means always putting them first, making sure they have everything or enough to eat because their children and need help/ comfort even if their older it’s always good to be there when they need someone to lean on in those moments.
