Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started my childcare experience when I was about 14 years old when I started working at a daycare in a gym. From there, I moved onto a preschool in Saugerties, called The Children’s Workshop of the Catskills. I shortly transferred to their location in Hurley, The Little Red Schoolhouse, as it was closer to home. I then moved on to work at the YWCA of Ulster County in their Magic Circle School program! & now I am a mom to my own little one!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to sing, and play instruments! I also love doing crafts, like painting and coloring. Anything creative is super fun!
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have very much one on one experience with special needs children, but I am very open to learning!
