Trust. Parents are trusting you with the most important people in their lives, so I think being dependable, honest, communicative, and genuinely caring is so important. I also want the kids to feel safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves around me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with ADHD, autism, and cerebral palsy. I understand that every child is different and may need different types of support, patience, communication, and structure.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Honestly, some of my favorite moments are the little everyday ones. When a child randomly tells me something funny, wants me to be the first person to see something they made, or comes running up to give me a hug. Those moments remind me how special it is to be part of a child’s life and watch their personality develop.
