I moved to signal mountain about three years ago with my daughter. We have a house full of animals and love spending time together!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in a school setting along with a private nanny for a family of 5 children aged 6-15 plus an infant once a week. I have over 10 hours of additional state training/certifications for childcare and safety. I also have a teenage daughter, so I have real life experience with children of all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love letting kids explore and use their imagination. We played ball outside, made art all over the driveway with chalk, picked flowers for their parents, art projects, video games, tea parties, etc!

The most important part about being a nanny...

A good nanny should feel like an extension of the home. You should feel comfortable and so should the children. I do my best to learn your habits/preferences and make life easier in any way I can.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with autism, non verbal or limited speech, and children with difficulty chewing/swallowing, requiring additional supervision and safer food choices.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Even though the day I moved away and had to stop being their nanny was one of the hardest, I have now become like family. Being able to impact their lives in a few short years is a bittersweet but amazing part of the job.
