I remember baby B, just 1 year old, who was the sweetest little helper. Even at that age, she’d try to help me care for the other kids — it was the most precious thing. Then there was Dakota, who stayed with me for two months; I took her to the park and the pool every day, and we’d cuddle up to watch movies together. And I’ll never forget Jadan, who would follow me everywhere and crack up during our little sword fights with Styrofoam swords. He was full of love and laughter.
These moments remind me why I love what I do — being a part of a child’s joy, routine, and sense of safety is truly a gift.
