I’m also very flexible and enjoy tailoring activities to the child’s age, interests, and personality. The most important part of being a nanny is being able to support families and children and help them be the best versions of themselves. I believe a nanny should provide not only reliable care, but also encouragement, patience, and a positive presence in a child’s life. Being able to make a meaningful difference in a family’s life is what makes being a nanny so rewarding.

My favorite nanny moment would have to be with the family I currently babysit for occasionally. One day, the mother told me that her child had written about me in their Bible and that I was someone they looked up to. I thought that was incredibly sweet and meaningful. It made me realize that I had positively impacted the child’s life in a way that went beyond simply caring for them. Knowing that they see me as someone who inspires them to be the best version of themselves, as well as someone they can call a friend, is something I will always cherish.
