More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a para at gateway pointe elementary and an activity assistant for 3 years! I worked mostly with kindergarten and first when I was a para and as an activity assistant I worked with ages 5-12. I was required to create activities for the kids as well as a schedule and I had 15-21 kids at a time. I also nannied for a few families over 3 years. The youngest being 1 and the oldest being 16.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m super creative so I love doing anything with art. Painting, clay, drawing. I’m also very active so going outside, playing any sports types games. Working as a cook/ sue chef I also love to cook so teaching easy recipes with kids is also super fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say creating a safe space for kids to grow, learn, and become who they are. I’ve enjoyed seeing how much of an impact a Nannies, teachers, and caregivers have on them and watching them blossom.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a para professional for over a year. I worked with mostly kids that have autism and ADHD a few others as well. I was trained in CPI and I worked with a lot of kids that had a lot of behaviors because of their home life. Leaning how to de-escalate certain situations.
