I currently work at an after school care program and work with about 15 kids at a time in my group and about 70 kids in the program. I have also volunteered for a program that teaches kids about how their neighborhood affects the community and businesses. My grandmother ran a daycare and I was able to volunteer there from age 13 until I went to college at 18.

I love arts and crafts and fun sports, as long as I can figure out how to play! I love movies and reading books.

Being able to invest in children and give them skills to solve conflict with others, manage their emotions, and be able to empathize with others. Teaching kids life skills is really important to me and I hope helps their development in a positive way.

One time I showed a child a picture of my dog and she said "Why does he look so funny?" and he does look kind of funny so I thought it was hilarious!
