The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. It’s about being patient, attentive, and understanding each child’s individual needs while supporting their emotional, social, and developmental growth. Building strong relationships with both the children and their family helps create consistency, trust, and a positive environment where everyone feels supported.

I have worked with special needs children for six years throughout my middle school and high school years. I am also a leader in Unified Sports, which is something I enjoy more than anything. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
