My experience with special needs children...
I have grown up with family members with special needs. In highschool, there was a nationwide club named Best Buddies (which is a club that is for inclusion where a special needs student gets pairs with a friend in the club) I met one of my favorite people in that club, her name is Christina and she has Angelman syndrome. I was in this club all four years of highschool, including being vice president my junior year and president senior year. Special needs children deserve to be loved and cherished just the same if not more than children without special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is when I would get to the house and see the girl I was nannying for and just having her smile and laugh just because I was there since she knew I am a safe person
