I am actually a mom like many of you and I have a nanny that I cannot speak highly enough about. She has a bachelors degree, former teacher in elementary school, and GREAT with kids of all ages. My kids no longer need a sitter so that’s why I am trying to recommend her to a family around here. She does tutoring, taught my kids how to read (abcs, etc), cook/bake, taught my son how to ride a bike with training wheels. Took to sports, You name it. She is amazing! She’s been with us for 3 years and we are so sad to lose her. She has experience with medical care for my children that has asthma and the other is on spectrum. My kids love her! She’s great with all ages and has worked with my kids from ages 1 year old to 13 years old. She even potty trained our kid and our puppy! 😛 She is highly educated, funny, respectful, great communicator and everything you’d want in a nanny!"

I received a double major from EWU in Elementary Education and Literacy. I student taught in a 3rd Grade class and later taught 3rd Grade for that same school. I nannied for multiple families in the Spokane area as well as the Seattle area. I am currently working for a family I’ve been with for almost 3 years until the start of September. They decided to put their child in a more full-time preschool but have become essentially a second family for me.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Love doing outdoor activities when the heat isn’t too much! Park visits, splash pad visits, animal farms, library, etc. are some of my favorite places to go! When outdoor activities are not a possibility indoor crafts, drawing, painting, etc. are some things I love!

Part of obtaining my degree was to take a few Special Education courses! We were required a number of hours in a Special Education classroom! In my 3rd Grade class I taught I had a few children who would be pulled with IEPs/SPED classroom time with a separate teacher but I was also required to customize my lesson planning to allow those children the ultimate opportunity for success!
