The most important part of being a nanny is connecting with a child on a daily basis. Watching them grow, say their first words, helping them learn to walk, do crafts, go somewhere new, and most importantly giving them love and time.

My favorite nanny moment is when I took care of twins Jackson & James. They both learned to say certain words like “mama”, “Dada”, “cracker”, “please”, “thank you”, “YAH YAH YO” meaning E-I-E-I-O from Old McDonald. It was bittersweet teaching them new words and songs each day.
