The most important part about being a nanny...
I think that the most important part of being a nanny is being able to watch the children you’re working with grow up! You get the honor of finding out their interests and seeing them develop and grow into who they are! I love being able to see the kids I have watched grow up and become more independent and find their own individual interests!
My experience with special needs children...
I have grown up with my younger brother who is special needs and I am more than willing to take on a special needs child. I understand that children on the spectrum take time and patience and can be hard to care for at times however all children are special in their own ways and deserve care and patience regardless!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite yet most embarrassing nanny moment was pretty recent while i was watching a family of 3 including a 6 year old girl, 4 year old boy and a 5 month old. I had taken them on a walk and the two oldest had scooters and wanted to race, i had expected the oldest daughter to win since she was much bigger and faster but in an interesting turn of events her younger brother being the eccentric boy that he is, pretended to fall and got his sister to run over to him. As i ran over there as well being concerned he jumped up and started running while holding his scooter to the “finish line” aka the mail box. His sister was not happy but it made us all laugh!
