More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've nannied and babysat from newborns to late childhood! I also regularly volunteered in childcare roles at my church growing up and found myself in roles including teaching arts and crafts, leading story time, and planning fun outdoor activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
- Creating age-appropriate sensory activities to keep children entertained and engaged
-I LOVE taking time to build independence, especially in young children. To me, this looks like allowing them to pick out their own clothes, building confidence in milestone achievements (like starting to walk), and giving them clear options for them to decide on their own
- Finding new parks to see or going on a long walk exploring new parts of the city (bonus if we see some friendly dogs or ducks!)

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building confidence in parents to trust that they know their children best - I am just there as a support person. This exact notion is what made me seek out my doula certification, which I will be completing in May of 2025.
My experience with special needs children...
I have nannied multiple children with ADHD and used to babysit a child with autism. I also grew up with two autistic brothers, myself.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I am currently nannying two twins that are just learning to talk. A few weeks ago the parents told me they were saying "I love you, Ally" all weekend and it melted my heart!
