To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, dependable, and loving environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe parents should have complete peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for, encouraged, and treated with kindness. I have worked with children of all abilities through pediatric dentistry and as a hairstylist, where patience, flexibility, and creating a calm environment were essential. I’m also fortunate to have a close relationship with my best friend’s nonverbal autistic sister. Spending time with her and cutting her hair has given me additional experience communicating through patience, observation, and trust. Every child is unique, and I’m committed to learning their individual needs and providing compassionate, attentive care.

One of my favorite nanny memories was when the kids I cared for started including me in their family drawings without me even asking.
