I am a 30 year old former preschool teacher seeking a part time babysitting position. I am responsible and enthusiastic when it comes to caring for children. I have experience working with children from infants to high schoolers, but I prefer working with infants and toddlers. I have my B.A. in Creative Writing and have worked as a teacher for 6+ years. Keeping the children safe and happy. I know I've done my job when the children don't want me to go home at the end of the day and when the parents feel completely relaxed when their children are in my care.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked as a Behavior Therapist with children on the austism spectrum for over a year. I also substitute taught for several special needs classes during my 4 years with a school district.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I find so much joy in engaging with children and hearing their perspectives on the world. They have such a unique view which can be funny, interesting, and somewhat philosophical. I find when I spend time with young children, the hours fly by.
