Listening to the parents and listening to the kids. Being able to learn the dynamic of how the kid behaves and adapt to make them the most comfortable and safe:) overall just keeping the kid(s) happy and safe!
My experience with special needs children...
I have not actually taken care of anyone special needs but I always have wanted to. My childhood bestfriends little sister had downsyndrome and I basically grew up with her but that's about all the experience I have
