Hey there families! I have 10+ yrs childcare experience, including infants, special needs, multiples, home school help, and 3 live-in positions. I am in my element the most with children with special needs, and babies/toddlers.

My personal philosophies include helping kids identify and manage big feelings, increased connection/natural consequences over punishment, allowing kids to grow through trying and making mistakes (like we do!), helping them see and believe how dang special they are, and imaginative play/ getting outside as much as possible (including in safe inclement weather)!! I will adapt to your family's personal style/preferences within those things, and am always open to learning new child development skills!

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for twins with Cerebral Palsy from the time they were 2 up until now when they are 6. I have experience with g-tubes, o2 monitoring, basic ASL, assistance with therapy goals and doctor appointments. :)
