I have family members that have special needs, they deserve to be treated like any other person. Have more time set aside for things that you would think are small but for them it’s a big thing/issue to handle. Have an understanding that they might have outbursts but to deal with them in a calm matter and don’t let yourself overreact to them as they might get more upset.
