A little bit about me

Hi! Im Alyssa and I am 24 years old. My family was a foster home for the past 17 years and I have always loved being involved and helping in any way I could. I have experience caring for children ranging from newborns to 10 years old and everything in between. I also have a niece and nephew whom I babysit regularly and three younger siblings that I helped care for while growing up. From 2017 to December 2019 I worked with a family with three children ages 4 4 and 9 as well as another family with two children ages 4 and 6. I also cared for a family with triplets for a few months starting about a month after they came home from the hospital.In addition to my childcare experience I am currently a behavior therapist for autistic children. I have also volunteered as an EMT for several months and volunteered at a daycare when I was younger.

"Alyssa has been watching my kids 4 and 6 since December she always goes above and beyond for them taking them out bowling,rita’s,fishing,park& more…she always make sure they feel loved she always brings gifts and does anything she can to make then happy and with myself having MS and not being able to walk and tend to my home as much as i’d like..having her around has greatly improved our home life she is always going above and beyond making sure my kids and myself have what we need and that everything is done that’s needed and more she would be a wonderful add on to any family and they would be lucky to have her if you are looking for someone for you and your kids to feel comfortable and safe with it’s her."

I am currently working for proud moments in aba therapy as a tech with children who are diagnosed with autism and i love it i have been there for about 9 months now :) i think its so rewarding to be able to teach a child who may have a difficult time learning things they’ll need in life and watching them get happy with social praise when they accomplish a task or learn a new skill!
