As soon as I got my first job in highschool coaching volleyball for an elementary school, I knew working with kiddos was something I wanted to do. While it was a little crazy being alone with 15 ten year olds, It was a blast teaching my passion to little ones interested in learning.

First I love finding their interests and widening on that. Whether it’s cooking/baking activities, sports, painting, dance offs, science activities or exploring the outdoors, I enjoy watching them have fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was a kid I was blessed to have parents that supported me in any hobbies or interests I had which made me feel confident in everything I do. I love to replicate this idea to instill same ideology and love to watch as kids learn and grow into amazing little people. I love encouraging them to explore their ever widening curiosity with age appropriate sciences, games, books, and of course, art! I’ve had amazing experiences in the past and can’t wait to meet another absolutely amazing family that accepts me into their life’s.
My experience with special needs children...
My mother is a physical therapist, so ever sense I was little I would go into her school and help the teachers with the kiddos in the play areas. As I got older my mom would let me stay alone with them and help them with snacks and nap times.
The most important part about being a nanny...
This one moment never fails to make me smile, one of my kiddos comes up to me one afternoon, wraps his arms around me and says, “Alyssa, I love you”, I say “aww buddy I love you too” and he says “well yeah I know but WHYYyyYyyY do you love me” and I say “didn’t you know? It’s because your my absolute best friend ever”, that touched his heart and he proceeded the rest of the night to try and convince his mom to let me move into his room. Truly the sweetest moment ever.
