More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been working in a high school with the special education program and with the Harrisonburg Parks and Rec after school program since Nov. 2020. I grew up doing small babysitting jobs for family friends and their friends. I assisted in working in an in-home daycare for several years.

I enjoy sports, being outside, puzzles and legos, arts and crafts, and playing games that they like to play.

The most important thing about being a nanny includes a few things, first is that the child and parent(s) feel safe with you taking care of their child. The child feeling comfortable around you and being able to be themselves around you. Children are so pure and we should do our best to give them opportunities of joy and knowledge.
My experience with special needs children...
For the past 4 years, I have worked as a special education teaching aid with RCPS. I have helped with canteen events for the City of Harrisonburg, which is geared towards individuals with special needs. A close relative I had growing up had cerebral palsy for 17 years and I lived around and helped others with her care for several years and learned from her mom and nurses.
